USS_Rushmore's Bread

3 cups self-rising flour
1 can (12oz) beer room temperature
1 tablespoon honey or sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter 1)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
Combine the flour,
beer and honey in a large bowl.
Stir until well mixed.
Spread into the greased pan.
Make a trench down the center of the loaf
and pour in the melted butter.
Bake 45 minutes or until browned and
a toothpick inserted into the center
comes out clean.
Turn bread out onto a rack and cool.
CKY's Stew
10 lbs ground sirloin
5 lbs green chilli peppers
1 pound onions
10 pounds of potatos cubed
6 cloves garlic-
cook for 2-3 hours
CCheffy's Fresh Corn, Chile and
Cheese Cornbread

Preheat the broiler. Broil 1 poblano  
chile, turning occasionally, until the
skin is scorched.
Cool. Remove the skin, ribs and seeds,
and chop into 1/2-inch pieces.
Make the batter,  stirring just
until moistened and  lumpy.
Stir in the chopped chile,
1 cup fresh corn, cut from the cob,
husks reserved,
4 cooked and crumbled bacon strips,
1/2 cup shredded queso blanco or
MontereyJack cheese,
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh
cilantro,and 1 teaspoon of chile
powder.Stir just  until smooth. Line the
skillet with corn husks. Pour in batter.   
Bake until the  bread springs back
when pressed in  the center, 15 to 20
minutes.
Let  stand 5 minutes, then turn out
onto a  plate or serve directly from the
skillet.  Makes 8 servings

Wiseoldman's Apple Dessert

Take about 8-12 apples (cooking) peel,
core and cut in small pieces...
add 1/2 cup flour,
1/2 cup sugar,
1-2 teaspoons of cinnimon
and mix 1/4 lbs margine and
cut in 1 cup of flour, sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar.
add more flour & sugar
until the mixture is like crumbs ..
use a pastry cutter to cut in  
put apples in 12"X12"X3" pan,
cover with crumb  mixture  bake at 375F
for about 1 hour or until very tender
serve immediately over ice cream

onion, sauteed in olive oil layer it -

Wildsoaring Eagles Fried Apple Pies

makes 2 deep dish ones
5 1/2 lb Granny smith golden delicious
1/4 lb butter
2 cups brown sugar
cinnamon & splash of nutmeg
( just a good dash )
slice apples in 1/2 slices just remove cores
leave skins on place all apples in a large
microwave container ,, ( do not cover ) cook
on high till the apples reduce in size ( stir to
coat the sugar butter ,,, cook till the apple
slices curl , remember if leave micro wave
closed will still cook stir often  
take the pie crusts and brush them with
drawn ( melted butter just very lightly bake at
350 for 30 minutes check a bit

Cut nose off moose shave
off little hairs.
Boil for 3 hours.
Add veggies of  your liking.

stir with a cooking utensil,
stir and eat

Put in approx. 6 qt. heavy saucepan (Pressure Cooker)

1 tall can evaporated milk
4 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 lb. Butter
Boil 8 minutes (stir frequently) (careful not to burn)

Reduce heat to low
Add: 1 lb Miniature Marshmallows
Approx. 24 oz (4 cups), Choc Chips
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 lb walnut halves

Stir until thoroughly blended and pour into 4 sided
commercial sheet pan.
Leave lots in the pan for everyone to sample.
Steve's 5 pound butter rum fudge recipe
Put in approx. 6 qt. heavy saucepan (Pressure Cooker)

1 tall can evaporated milk
4 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 lb. Butter
Boil 8 minutes (stir frequently) (careful not to burn)

Reduce heat to low
Add: 1 lb Miniature Marshmallows
Approx. 24 oz (4 cups), Butterscotch chips
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon rum flavoring
1 lb pecan halves

Stir until thoroughly blended
and pour into 4 sided commercial sheet pan.

Leave lots in the pan for everyone to sample.

For peanut butter fudge, substitute Reese’s
chips and salted, dry roasted peanuts.
For Chocolate mint fudge, substitute Andes Chunks,
and sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on top.
For vanilla fudge substitute white chocolate chips.
BLUES's good old South African Potbread.

480 grams (1 liter / 4 cups) self raising flour.
1 x 340 ml tin of beer or more depends on the maker
(Rush take it easy buddy, LMAO
1 x pinch of salt depending on the user's salt preference.
1/4 cup of warm water with 2 x teaspoons of dry yeast.

Mix the ingredients well and place it into
butter/margarine smeared foiled tart pan,
place another tart pan on top
and leave to rise for about 1 hour.
The above can also be done directly into the flat
bottomed cast iron pot itself
and placing the lid onto the pot.

Then place the pot 25 / 30cm above 8 already burning
bricklets and let it bake for 1 hour.

Depending on how brown and crisp the top part of the
bread is required, it is entirely up to the makers choice.
Place 6 already burning charcoal brickets on top of the
pot's lid in the 3, 6, 9 and 12 clock positions,
then also place 2 bricklets in
the center of the lid's top on either side of its handle.
Should the top bread layer be required to be crisper
then more bricklets must be placed onto the lid,
depending on how crisp the
top layer is required by the maker.

(Now don't go placing too many bricklets on the lid it will
cause the top layer of the bread to burn)

Do not open the lid during the 1 hour baking period

Then remove the done bread and smear well with
butter/margarine on the top layer of the bread only and
let the butter/margarine
penetrate the crust for 5 minutes.
Note the above recipe was copied exactly as
wild gave it to me - not quite sure how the pie
crust fit into this recipe so use your
imagination ....Wild is making pies for the
angels now so cant ask him

15 lbs pork chops boiled well done
6 - 10 oz cans
cream of mush room soup
3/4 of a 33 oz bottle of a1
boil together for 5 min.
then ad the pork to it and
boil for 3 1/2 min
