Some of you have heard me tell this tale in chat.
When we were stationed in Hawaii, I sent my little sister a Hula Outfit
- my mother tried it on and decided to show our unsuspecting neighborman,
quietly sitting on his patio- smoking his cigar.

She went outside and said - "Hi Buck - Look at what my daughter sent me"
( as she struck a typical Hawaiian Hula pose. )
He was enjoying the view I am sure. Then she said " But guess what ??????"
at which time - she turned around and proclaimed.....

My Wild and Crazy Mother !!!!
He Bit his Cigar in Half  !!
Dear Mom you will be forever in our hearts -
May you rest in the arms of our Lord
who has always loved you so......
She Loved that song !
Mom said that when she died - she didnt want
some somber funeral - instead get our friend
Johnny Retzel to play his accordian- and to play
for sure "Dont Play with my Tutu" - on her
birthday I decided to make it happen while she
was alive to hear it - was so glad I did !!!
Mom died in my arms - December 19, 2007
Memories of You
You will be remembered
When the flowers bloom in spring
In the summertime, remembered
In the fun that summer brings

You will be remembered
When fall brings leaves of gold
In the wintertime, remembered
In the stories that are told.

You will be remembered
Each day right from the start
For the memories we once shared
Forever lives within my heart.
